 June 24. Finally moved in! Started my first week at Warrior, and already the days are full of all kinds of hockey gear geekery. Congratulations to Warrior athlete Jonathan Toews (who captained the Stanley Cup winning Chicago Blackhawks, won the Conn Smythe trophy as the MVP of the playoffs, and in February won a gold medal with Team Canada) on landing the cover of EA Sports NHL 11! May 20. I have accepted a position with Warrior Hockey as Production and Design Coordinator. May 14. The March 27 National Stem Cell drive went extremely well, the final count was 4,025 new registrants to the One Match network. Lines in Vancouver stretched all the way around the mall, we sold out of nearly all the shirts, and all the volunteers and donors were in great spirits. Thank you thank you thank you. March 5. T-shirts for Other Half are in! Come out on March 27th to the stem cell drives and they'll be available for donations >$15, when you also sign up to donate and potentially save someone's life. Not a bad deal. March 1. 3 weekends of snowboarding later, Whistler-Lake Tahoe-Blue Mountain, I'm thinking of painting my snowboard for the next trip/year. Maybe the vinyl that car guys put onto their cars is a good option. |
